Founding families appear here once they tell us they'd like to be listed. Nobody goes on this page without saying yes.
Being listed here is optional and always has been. If you're a founding member and you'd like your name added, changed, or taken down, just email us and we'll handle it the same day. We never publish last names, cities, or photographs of children.
