SUBSCRIPTION TERMS

Thank you for subscribing to OceanWise Creations. These Subscription Terms explain how your subscription works, including billing, renewals, cancellations, and what to expect each month.

SUBSCRIPTION PLANS

We offer two subscription options:

Monthly Plan — $21.99/month
Billed monthly on the same date you originally subscribed. Cancel anytime before your next billing date to stop future charges.

Annual Plan — $16.99/month (billed as $203.88/year)
Billed as a single upfront payment of $203.88. This covers 12 monthly boxes at a discounted rate of $16.99 per box — a savings of $60 compared to the monthly plan.

WHAT YOU RECEIVE

Each month, you receive one box containing:
- A 4-layer laser-cut wooden ocean animal craft
- A 20+ page printed STEAM educational booklet featuring animal facts, habitat information, conservation science, cultural connections, and hands-on activities

Art supplies (paint, markers, crayons, colored pencils) are not included. Children decorate their craft with materials they already have at home.

Each month features a different ocean animal. Specific animals cannot be requested or guaranteed in advance. Our team curates the animal lineup to provide variety and educational value across the subscription.

BILLING AND PAYMENT

Monthly subscribers are billed automatically on the same calendar date each month. If your billing date falls on a date that doesn't exist in a given month (e.g., the 31st), you will be billed on the last day of that month.

Annual subscribers are billed once upfront for the full year. Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of the 12-month term unless you cancel before the renewal date.

All payments are processed securely through Shopify Payments.

SHIPPING SCHEDULE

Your first box ships within 3–5 business days of subscribing. After that, boxes ship on approximately the same date each month. You will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information for every shipment.

Shipping is free for all US orders.

CANCELLATION

Monthly Plan: You may cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you will not be charged again, and no further boxes will ship. To cancel, log into your account and go to your subscription settings, or email hello@oceanwisecreations.com.

Annual Plan: You may cancel at any time to prevent automatic renewal. Because annual subscriptions are prepaid, all 12 boxes will still be delivered even after cancellation. The annual payment is non-refundable. Your subscription will simply not renew at the end of the 12-month term.

PAUSING YOUR SUBSCRIPTION

Monthly subscribers can pause their subscription for up to 3 months. During the pause period, you will not be billed and no boxes will ship. Your subscription will automatically resume after the pause period ends. To pause, log into your account or email us.

Annual subscribers cannot pause, as all 12 boxes are prepaid.

SKIPPING A MONTH

Monthly subscribers can skip individual months. Skipping a month means you will not be billed or receive a box that month. Your subscription resumes automatically the following month.

To skip a month, log into your account or email hello@oceanwisecreations.com before your billing date.

UPDATING YOUR INFORMATION

You can update your shipping address, payment method, or email address at any time through your account settings. Please update your shipping address at least 5 days before your next billing date to ensure your box ships to the correct location.

PRICE CHANGES

We may adjust subscription pricing from time to time. If prices change, we will notify you by email at least 30 days before the new pricing takes effect. Existing annual subscribers will not be affected until their next renewal. Monthly subscribers will be notified before their next billing cycle.

GIFT SUBSCRIPTIONS

Gift subscriptions are available in monthly and annual options. The gift giver selects the plan and provides the recipient's shipping address. Gift subscriptions do not auto-renew — the recipient will receive an email near the end of the gift term with the option to continue on their own.

MULTIPLE CHILDREN

If you have more than one child and would like to add a second subscription, contact us at hello@oceanwisecreations.com. We can bundle shipments to the same address to save on shipping.
